Welcome to Berea College's Cost Estimator.

Berea's unique mission is to offer outstanding educational opportunities to students who have demonstrated both an excellent academic record and financial need.

Berea's Cost Estimator was developed to help you and your family estimate your first-year costs. Results are based on 2021-22 Cost of Attendance figures and student aid eligibility requirements. The intent of this form is to provide you with the best estimate of your aid, but your final aid will depend on your actual 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

To help you complete this process, it would be helpful to have the items listed below.

  • 2019 Earnings Statements or 2019 Paycheck Stubs
  • 2019 Student and Parent Income Tax Returns

*The accuracy of your estimated awards is based on the information you provide. Future costs and financial aid estimates are subject to change. Results of the calculator are not guaranteed and if your family has encountered special circumstances (divorce, death of wage earner, etc.) your financial eligibility should be considered on an individual basis. This form is intended for domestic students only, not International Students.

**While the 2021-2022 FAFSA will consider 2019 tax information, we understand many families have encountered loss of income, job change or loss, or unexpected change in family size as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. If your family’s financial situation has changed significantly in 2020, you may choose to complete this calculator using estimates from the 2020 tax year.
